Soil cultivation methods in modern agriculture are as diverse as the soil types. Cultivation methods include plowing, seedbed preparation, and sowing. Front packers, among other things, can be used in seedbed preparation. These machines roughly level the soil before or for sowing. Lemken is a specialist in the manufacture of soil cultivation machines and offers front packers in its product range. The original, known as the VarioPack K, serves as the model for the model developed by Bruder. This can be mounted in front of or behind Bruder tractors. For road transport, the packer ring units are raised and swiveled upwards by 90° into a vertical position.
